clear and specific vocation: the production of caramel colour and burnt sugar. This specialisation and the fact to have been working in this specific sector for many years, have led the company to develop very diversified proposals, which are created in order to meet effectively every need

A 45 years long experience
has contributed to consolidate a prominent position, a technical capability that has allowed to include among the customers many leading companies of the food sector, both at national and international level.
Sicna is now awarded as the undiscussed leader
of the Italian market and more than 50 per cent of the whole production is bound for foreign markets.

Sicna - which is located in Cassina Nuova di Bollate, near Milan, in the same area where it was founded in 1961 - is composed of a series of buildings with a covered surface of about 2,000 square metres on a total area of 6,000 square metres, which is owned by the company itself.

During the years production plants with different capacity have been installed, which are entirely based on its own know-how and which have assured an extreme flexibility in production, allowing to meet every request of the customers in short times, both in terms of variety of product and quantity. Sicna's total storage area reaches 1,200 tons and the internal laboratory is provided with the most advanced equipment

Another fundamental factor for Sicna's success is surely represented by the long experienced personnel of the company, all people that have been working for Sicna for many years (the average is 14 years).
